5 Family Friendly Cities to Consider

Raising a family is difficult. Finding the best city to raise them in is even more difficult. Even picking out the right vacation location is stressful. If you're struggling to find the right city for your family, take a look at the list of cities that are entirely friendly.

1. Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN

Some of most popular family friendly events and activities happen in this particular city. There is the Japanese Garden, the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, the Wabasha Street Caves, the F. Scott Fitzgerald House, and Como Town. These fun activities and places are for all types of families. From history, to science, to fun, everybody will have the opportunity to enjoy themselves.

2. Orlando, FL

This place is famous for quite a few activities that families can take part in and attend together. There is the Walt Disney World theme park, Sea World, the Universal Studios Resort, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and much more. This is definitely more of a theme park type of city rather than raising a family. It's more popular for family vacations, but if your family enjoys going to theme parks, water parks, and other famous amusement parks on a regular basis, this is a highly recommended location.

3. Nashville, TN

If your family's main focus is music, this is the place to go. There are endless activities for the entire family. There's the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Children's Theatre, the Fontanel Mansion, the Music City Trolley Hop, and Kidsville. This city is usually referred to as, "Music City."

4. Newton, MA

If your family is more relaxed and laid back with an intense interest in education, Newton is the place to go. There's Stearns Park, Norumbega Park, Webster Conservation Area, McMullen Museum of Art, Metropolitan Waterworks Museum, and the Beaver Brook Reservation. This city has an excellent educational system with a high graduation percentage.

5. London, England, UK

I had to add at least one European city and with all the options available, London has been in the top five European cities for both family living and vacation. There are several fun and relaxing things to do with your whole family. There's the London Eye, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Parliament, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Big Ben, the Royal Albert Hall, the Piccadilly Circus, the Shard, the Globe Theatre, the London Zoo, the Palace of Westminster, the Tower Bridge, and much, much more. London is most famously known for William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill, Sylvia Plath, John Keats, and many more.

Although there are plenty of other family friendly cities, these were voted the best for 2017. These cities have also made top of the list consistently.
